I would like to relate to you my experience using cold laser
withing a clinical setting and specifically the use of the MedLight laser.
I am a graduate of CMCC '91 and because of this I had the opportunity to
learn the use laser therapy as part of my training. I moved to Florida to
practice and so for many years was not able to use any type of laser for
treatment until just the past few years. I have been using true laser and
near infrared laser for about 5 years. It has been over the past year
that I had the opportunity to use the MedLight technology. There is a great deal of world wide research on the use of
laser and infrared energy for the treatment of multiple conditions.
Recently this research has documented the benefits of infrared energy on
soft tissue conditions. This technology is considered safe and effective.
In my own clinical experience I have found that the Medlight has been
highly effective for chronic and acute conditions of the extremities, and with
consistent use, spinal problems as well. Laser and infrared will no doubt gain wider acceptance in
the near future as more physicians who have had no experience using this
technology gradually start to familiarize themselves with its effectiveness and
safety. The value of the Medlight specifically, given the lost cost, ease
of use and results can possibly reduce this learning curve. I have come
to know the manufacturer of this product, Mr. Cris Peterson over the past year
and I have told him on more than one occasion that his product may change the
landscape of home therapy devices. This is a product that needs to be
used and recommended by our profession due to its safe and non-invasive/non-chemical
nature. It should become an affordable standard therapy used throughout
our clinical practices. Regards |

Many of my clients are now pain free due to weekly warm bamboo massage treatments where I am able to provide a deep tissue treatment that feels great.
